Congres Energietransitie 2026

Congres Energietransitie 2026 takes place on Tuesday 6 October 2026 at the Energiehuis in Dordrecht. The day is about how regions arrive at scalable solutions of their own for grid congestion, rising energy costs and complex regulation — aimed at parties that would rather act than wait. Smart Delta Drechtsteden and Werkgevers Drechtsteden connect the congress to the region; production is in the hands of W.T. Media en Events.

What is the aim?

The programme is built around four parallel tracks, so participants can choose their own route through the part of the challenge they work on:

• Insight and system — the Dutch energy system, grid congestion, future electricity demand, digital twins and data as a steering instrument
• Collaboration and organisation — energy cooperatives, business parks as energy communities, the role of municipalities, public-private partnerships and energy sharing
• Technology and infrastructure — smart energy use, smart grids, battery storage, charging infrastructure, energy hubs and alternative fuels
• Financing and delivery — tax incentives, scalability, legal structures and investment in energy infrastructure

Who is it for?

The congress is aimed at professionals working on the delivery side of the energy transition. Audiences include:
